In the beginning, it seems like we just can’t get enough of summer in the Twin Cities: being outdoors, celebrating the amazing weather, the lakes, the patios, the weekend fun. This weekend, like many weekends that are coming up this summer, there is a lot to choose from. We recommend simple options like finding a lake and sitting by it, making a homemade batch of sangria and enjoying it with friends or your honey, or visiting one of the many farmers’ markets around town and picking up some delicious local goodies. Open Streets Minneapolis
The first of a few Open Street events in the Twin Cities. These day-long street take overs are a great opportunity for a long stroll, some yummy street food, and fun activities.

Sunday
Minneapolis Marathon
Cheer on your buddy or some awesome strangers. Maybe even make the commitment to run it next year.
Grand Old Day
Fitness inspiration followed up by fried food and a bunch of family-style fun.
